Note: If you don’t meet 100% of these requirements but think you’d be a good fit, please don’t hesitate to apply!
Benefits:
Our vision is to grow an audience of book-lovers, in partnership with local booksellers, through customer-first technology. Our values drive our work as a social purpose corporation (see our annual reports) and in our approach to hiring. Libro.fm is 100% employee owned and every team member has an ownership stake. It’s critical to our mission to identify people who will thrive in our culture. When we hire someone, we want the relationship to last.
All candidates go through three rounds of interviews. There's no take home assignment or active coding during the interviews. We want to learn more about who you are, how you work, and what you've built.
There is no substitute for doing real work with someone. If we want to move forward with you after the third round of interviews, you’ll be asked to work with us for a period of time on a contract to hire basis. We can tailor the hours and duration of the contract to your needs. The last phase is an opportunity for us to do real work with you. The goal is not to complete a project or do a set amount of work; it’s to give us a way to quickly and efficiently assess if there’s a long-term fit. You can also evaluate Libro.fm and the team while you’re working with us. We work with you on the assumption that you’ll be doing the job as a W-2 employee.
