You’ll be working with other talented engineers and developers to create secure, modern cloud-based systems for a large Federal agency.

On any given day you’ll:

  • Define and implement the build, deployment, and monitoring process and standards of high-performing, high-security systems.
  • Write scripts and/or templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and management tasks  
  • Experience with code repositories (Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., TeamCity, Jenkins, Maven or Gradle)
  • Build and configure delivery environments supporting Continuous Delivery and Integration (CI/CD) tools including but not limited to Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Work closely with Development and QA teams to help ensure end-to-end quality
  • Continually improve CI/CD tools, processes, and procedures
  • Provide technical mentorship, troubleshooting expertise, and architectural insight to development and quality
  • Evangelize next-generation cloud and DevOps products and processes, experiment with their implementation
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results

What you should know:

Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet, Kubernetes, OpenShift, SonarQube, JUnit, Selenium, JMeter, Galing, Splunk, CloudWatch, New Relic, Bash, Python, Ruby.

What we’d like from you:

  • The ability to obtain a public trust clearance
  • A minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • A 4-year degree and/or equivalent years of experience and/or certifications
  • AWS experience, certifications are a plus
  • Prior Federal experience, if you have it

Phone Interview

Our hiring team will contact you on the scheduled date and time. The interview will last approximately 30 minutes. This is our opportunity to assess your basic qualifications for the position. If you're selected to move forward in the process, you'll receive an email within 3 days of your phone interview with instructions for scheduling your technical interview.

  • For Engineering positions: After your phone interview, you'll be assigned a coding challenge to complete and submit within 48 hours. The coding challenge should take around an hour to complete. If you're selected to move forward you'll receive an email with instructions for scheduling your technical interview.

Technical Interview for Engineering positions

The technical interview will last 60 minutes. During the interview, we'll walk through your coding challenge and discuss your prior work history, programming language preferences, and problem-solving approach. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions.
