At Hovercast we work with political campaigns, nonprofit organizations, artists and brands to help define the future of live entertainment and events. Our products create interactive live streams that raise money, look great, and boost engagement. Hovercast's clients have included Bernie Sanders, Donald Glover, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Comcast, Old Spice, and Audi.
We need software engineers to help build intuitive tools with great user experiences for broadcasters and event organizers, powered by scalable cloud infrastructure.

If we feel you have the skillset for the position, we will reach out to have an initial interview with you. This will be a few "get to know you" questions, where we will ask you about your previous work history and background. For candidates who still seem like a good fit, we will ask you to do a second interview with the dept head. We will also ask you to do some brief take home tasks, so we can assess your skill levels. All interviews will be remote.
We are a tiny team of only 5 full time employees right now, and we have bootstrapped that team from previous contacts/co-workers. As we start to grow, it's very important to us to incorporate folks from other backgrounds with new ideas and perspectives.
