Paperchain is a tailored instant-pay solution to fund the next generation of creators. With Paperchain, you can see and access your streaming revenue as you earn it. In real time. Our app connects to the API feeds of Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music and many others, aggregating and pricing media streaming data and making the stream revenue available instantly to creators. We've paid out $500K to music companies and creators so far, and are rapidly expanding our customer base.
We're currently raising our seed round and are capitalized from our $900K pre-seed round supported by Techstars, Our Innovation Fund as well as founders, executives and investors from The Orchard, Live Nation, Zip.co, Mute Records, Live Nation, Deutsche Bank, and Goldman Sachs.

What you'll be working on
You'll walk in at Paperchain and immediately start contributing to three key deliverables:
The first interview will be a non-technical interview. We believe it's more important for you to get pitched on the "why" of the company and learn more about the team, rather than diving straight into technical specifics. And it's an opportunity for us to learn more about you as an individual as well.
After the first interview, we'll assign a small task as a test (depending on time requirements, this may be paid) that's designed to help us understand your approach to product building and the connection between product front-end, product back-end and our customer.
One of our goals with Paperchain is to build a diverse company. What does this mean?
We aspire to embody this description on diversity hiring by Ideal:
Diversity hiring is hiring based on merit with special care taken to ensure procedures are free from biases related to a candidate’s age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and other personal characteristics that are unrelated to their job performance
What that last line means is that our commitment to diversity does not end once a person joins team. It's on all of us to ensure we have a work environment that is comfortable and open to everybody.
While building a startup often means taking the fastest check, we've been thoughtful about who we take money from and who has equity in our business, ensuring our customers can see themselves not only in our team, but in our investors and advisors.
