Our team is looking for an experienced software QA engineer to plan and execute testing that delivers high-quality mobile applications, backend services and e-commerce products to our partners and users. As our engineering scales up quickly, the automation infrastructure is essential for us to quickly ship elegant and reliable software. You will be a lead within our QA team and use your knowledge of tools, testing and infrastructure to build the foundation that will propel us into the years to come! You'll help others understand, build, maintain and improve the test infrastructure to continually push the efficacy and efficiency of our software releases.

  • Plan and build onto our automated testing framework using automation frameworks for iOS and Android, chrome web applications, e-commerce and backend services

  • Develop and maintain test scripts for critical product functionality

  • Collaborate with the product engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges around engineering efficiency and velocity

  • Integrate testing into our CI/CD infrastructure to efficiently deliver high quality mobile applications to our users

  • Monitor and maintain standard methodologies in code health, testing, and maintainability

  • Participate in a variety of manual testing processes, if needed, to assist PAX with hardware and software releases

  • Lead QA team test efforts for assigned projects


  • Strong experience as a Developer, QA Engineer, Software Developer in Test or similar QA role

  • Jira proficiency and using the tool to track personal tasks in an agile environment

  • 7 years strong experience with iOS and/or Android testing frameworks (XCTest, KIF, JUnit, Espresso, Appium)

  • Experience with web testing frameworks (Selenium, HPQT)

  • Experience with API testing tools (SoapUI, Restlet, Postman)

  • Experience with Git, continuous integration and deployment tools(Jenkins, Concourse CI, Travis CI)

  • Familiarity with Bluetooth/BLE connected hardware preferred

  • You are a strong, self-motivated individual that can work with minimal day to day supervision and able to objectively rank and prioritize development work for yourself

  • Excellent communicator, verbal and written

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
