Building reliable safety nets.


We are looking for a Product Operations Manager to help streamline our operations and take them to the next level. We operate in a complex ecosystem with many stakeholders and partners, and this role will have a direct impact on how we. are able to scale to meet their needs as we grow.

Things you might do:

  • Coordinate with insurance carrier partners to guide our products through to launch
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor platform performance and system health
  • Identify user experience issues and develop approaches for improvement
  • First pass QA and QC testing of our products, ensuring we meet the highest quality bar
  • Help customers resolve problems by email, chat, phone, or whatever channel they need
  • Manage our social media accounts and help us engage directly with our constituents
  • Work closely with marketing and business development to proactively anticipate new product development and needs

Experience you might have:

  • Worked in customer service, customer success, or operations
  • HTML/web experience or willingness to learn
  • Analytics experience or willingness to learn

At Liferaft, we are building a health expense safety net designed for real life. No one should have to choose between quality medical care and financial ruin, and we are on a mission to make sure they don't. You'll be joining an early-stage startup with the opportunity to help build the foundation of the business from the ground up and have a direct impact on the trajectory of our company. We are experienced startup operators and insuretech/fintech veterans who are hugely passionate about modernizing enormous industries that haven't been updated in decades.


The interview process:

  • Initial 30-minute phone call with our CEO or Head of Product
  • Qualified applicants will be offered a take-home assignment (roughly 4 hours)
  • On-site (conducted remotely) interview has a take-home review session and an interactive conversation on current product and operational aspects of the company
  • On-site may also include sessions to meet engineering and sales team members
