Things about you that we care about:
As a Senior Software Engineer at cove, you’ll be joining our product team and have outsized influence over how our software is built and the tools we use. Your role will consist of building our software platform and delivering a great experience to our users. You’ll help us build, test, and run a robust, well-tested, and modern software platform (currently we use React/React Native on the front-end and Node on the backend).
cove practices Structured Hiring meaning we created a structured interview process aimed us ensuring we gather the right information to make the right hire for our team. We identify the key qualifications and skills needed for the position and then create interview stages that help us learn and evaluate those qualifications in our candidates.
The process includes four main stages:
1. An introductory call with either our People Lead or CTO
2. A take-home assignment (less than 2 hrs) designed to assess your technical skills required for the role.
3. A hiring manager interview with our Lead Engineer and other team members. This is a great chance to get to know the team and ensure we're a good fit for your interests as well.
4. Final Round Interview which includes another chat with the hiring team, a coffee chat with a non-Product team member to get to know cove's work culture, and a final conversation with the CTO to align on the growth of cove, the position and your own interests.
