Beyond Finance is committed to reducing the stress of customers facing the burden of debt. Our leadership team has extensive experience and expertise in the financial services and debt management marketplace. We are currently in the process of reimagining our technology platform and operational processes to emerge as a technology company providing debt management solutions to our customers. If we get it right, we’ll help free folks from debt and that’s a great reason to come to work everyday.
Hiring During the Pandemic
Beyond Finance is committed to employee health and safety. We’ve built and implemented a plan to conduct remote interviewing and onboarding. Although we’d like to get back to the office one day, we’re committed to doing so in a safe, responsible manner to ensure minimum risk for our employees and their families.
About The Role
You’ll work closely with our leadership team to help guide our technology and product decisions for our mobile app. We’re a small group that values clear communication, transparency, and collaboration. We drive progress by small iterations and reflecting on how we can best work together.
There are 3 software engineering teams at Beyond Finance today with 15 software engineers total. You’d be the first dedicated member of our mobile team.

Our interview process consists of an initial phone call with our recruiter who will provide more context on Beyond Finance's mission, our company culture and the role. Our recruiter will also discuss work experience and ask some high level questions. The next step will be a call with our hiring manager (who is the VP of Technology) to talk more in depth about skills and experience and answer questions. The last step consists of two panel interviews: a panel with two of our engineers diving into technical details and another with two product managers focusing on communication and how to scope work.
When we began carefully examining the diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts at Beyond Finance, we started at the top. Nearly 45 percent of our senior leadership team today includes skilled people from underrepresented groups across the spectrum. We believe for Beyond Finance to serve all people challenged with debt, we have to reflect that culture internally.
