As a member of the Experience Design & Strategy team, you'll conceptualize and define the holistic experience across key customer touchpoints and turn that vision into a clear and practical strategy that product teams can apply. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering stakeholders and teams to identify and clarify the right problems and opportunities in our user experience based on data, customer research, and industry perspectives.  You and your team will craft high-impact experience strategies to address those needs, progressively improving UKG's exceptional user experiences. This role will empower and challenge you to use your full range of skills while having the opportunity for growth to meet our users’ evolving needs and our business opportunities. You will nurture a culture of inquiry and critique necessary to ensure appropriate critical feedback and drive continuous improvement while building strong and enduring relationships across the organization.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders in product, engineering, service, and sales to gather and share insights and pain points across the holistic user journey
  • Leverage business intelligence, market analysis, and customer intelligence data to drive your strategy
  • Work with stakeholders to create and maintain a holistic-future forward vision for our product suite that informs decision making at a 3 to 5-year outlook
  • Advance the experience vision through partnerships and progressive improvements
  • Collaboratively define product experience metrics and methods of measurement to track progress

Required Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years of experience as a User Experience Designer, Software Product Designer (not just websites or mobile apps), Service Designer (full software product lifecycle), or Product Design Strategist (software)
  • Extensive knowledge of service design and design practices, and the ability to drive user-centered design in a corporate environment
  • Experience creating journey/experience maps, service/interaction models and flows, and wireframes
  • Experience in enterprise, collaborative, and cross-disciplinary environments
  • Can work independently with initiative, collaborate easily and productively with distributed teams
