We’re looking for someone to join our Integrations Engineering Team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for working with customers across a variety of industries and a variety of tools to better understand their workflows and determine what integrations are important to them. In collaboration with our engineering and product teams, you’ll then lead the building of these integrations. This position will also help develop and maintain some of our most popular open-source projects - like Tenable, Cloud Connectors, ServiceNow, Maltego, and many more.
The best person for this role will have a skill set that includes extensive programming experience, working in cloud environments, and led rapid prototyping previously. You will have held a role as a Solutions Engineer for a SaaS-based product, and have experience working closely with customer success and/or product management functions.

If you meet the required qualifications (not necessarily all!), you'll receive an email from our recruiter to set up a 20-30 minute preliminary phone screen. This is typically a 30-minute phone call to actually chat and get an introduction to the person behind the resume. Some are shorter, others can be an hour! It depends on how many questions the recruiter (and you) have. We’ll cover your experience in detail and seek to understand your goals and what excites you.. We ask that you do your research on our company, our values, our product, and bring questions! We may also cover compensation expectations, relocation, if necessary, and other related topics.
Once the recruiter connects with the hiring manager and ensures there is a fit for the position, they will reach out to set up a 30-45 minute video interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager is typically the person you would report to and will discuss the role with you in more detail. If you’ve applied for a technical role, this stage is where you can show off your technical skills. Bring examples of projects you’ve worked on and skills you’ve picked up in your career.
If the hiring manager feels you are a strong match, they will coordinate a technical job exercise to validate your technical skills. This stage is particularly for our more technical roles (typically within our product or engineering departments) and is meant to validate your skills in practical application. We’ll send over an exercise of some sort related to the role you’re applying for (a coding exercise or sales presentation, for example). We love questions in this phase! This isn’t a pass/fail exercise, but a way for us to better understand your skills and your unique approach.
If the technical job exercise receives positive feedback, we'll move to the final interview! For us, we feel like this is actually a mutual interview. We are pretty certain you’re a great candidate and you’re in the final stages in making a decision on whether or not Censys is the right step for you in your career. You may interview with 2-3 people at once or in individual meetings. The recruiter will send you a full interview schedule with times and who you will be meeting with. Be yourself! Dress professionally but also comfortably.
