ConvertKit is on a mission to help creators earn $1B using our SaaS email marketing platform. We are 100% independent, 100% remote and are growing rapidly. We are proud to have built a product that our customers love, and we're looking to grow our engineering team by hiring more full stack software engineers.
About the Role
You will be joining a team of engineers to help build the content creation experience in our product using React and Ruby on Rails. You’ll collaborate with designers, project managers and other engineers in an autonomous and supportive environment. Your team is responsible for features like our landing page builder and rich text email editor, and is the most active in maintaining our core component library. We prioritize projects that impact metrics like the conversion rate of users who try our landing page builder before signing up. We guide the architecture of the features we work on as well the direction of the front end for the entire engineering team. Here are some of the more recent projects we’ve worked on:
Integrated with Instagram to seamlessly embed shared images into emails or landing pages
Added the ability to embed YouTube videos into emails
Extracted our landing page creation experience so potential users can create a page before signing up
Feel free to peruse our engineering blog to learn more about what we're up to. We also have a specific post about what it's like to work at ConvertKit as an engineer, which has many frequently asked questions answered.

ConvertKit is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity in all of its forms and we hire the best person for each role, no matter your personal background. Research tells us that applicants who are female or non-binary, as well as applicants who are people of color, are less likely to apply for roles they do not feel 100% qualified for.
We encourage every person who is interested to apply. We’re imperfect communicators, so think of our job postings as the starting point for discussion rather than proof that you shouldn’t apply. Take the leap - you never know, you might just be the perfect person for one of our open roles, even if you don’t match 100% of the job description.
Here’s what you can expect from the rest of our hiring process:
We’re striving to build a team that reflects the diversity of the customers we serve. We want our people’s voices to be heard and for those voices to feel they belong at ConvertKit. We are focused on cultivating awareness, educating ourselves and being accountable for how we operate as a team - whether that’s how we build our product or how we run our hiring process. We may not always get it right, but we are committed to being better each day.
