Loopio is looking to add a Product Designer to join the Projects team. This Agile team’s mandate is to enable our users to collaborate and quickly create effective responses that lead to winning new business opportunities.

Product Designer: 4 rounds of interviews ( 25 / 60/ 60/ 90 mins)
Portfolio Review - 60 minutes - with 2 Senior members on the Design Team.
Format: Candidates to prepare 2 case studies from their portfolio that showcases their work and its impact, also make sure to share a little about their background and how they think about and approach design. Along with a demonstration of their hard skills (UX research, concept exploration, interaction design, visual design, etc.), we seek to understand their mindset and how they approach tackling design challenges, including:
(Option) Heuristics Evaluation OR Whiteboard Design Challenge - 60 minutes - with 2 Senior members on the Design Team
Option 1 - Conduct a whiteboard design challenge
Format: The interview team will present you with a design problem in the meeting and will ask you to walk them through your approach. They will invite you to a remote whiteboarding tool to guide them through your problem-solving process and solution. Please note that you are not expected to put any pre-work into this, and we will not use your work from this exercise.
Option 2 - Heuristic evaluation (max 3 hours prep time)
Format: You will do a maximum 3hrs homework to prepare a heuristic evaluation on a website provided by the interviews. You will put together a short presentation on your findings to share with the team on a zoom call. The presentation will be followed by a short design jam to explore improvements. Please note that you are to put no more than 3 hours pre-work into this, and we will not use your work from this exercise.
We’re offering these options because some candidates are comfortable with a no-prep activity while others prefer the opportunity to prep. We want you to be comfortable, so that we can have a productive conversation.
The whiteboard challenge topic will be different from the heuristic evaluation topic.
