JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role

Particle Health seeks a Product Manager to support our team of Data Engineers and Data Scientists as they design, build, and integrate tools for the transformation and delivery of data to consumers, internal and external. The Product Manager will support the overall product design, development, and management of product functions and features related to patient healthcare data and its transformation.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Drive and support the overall data product roadmap, data product vision and strategy.
  • Translate demand into functional product requirements through detailed specifications and planning.
  • Manage timelines and the sprint process with the engineering team.
  • Research and report competitive intelligence on product features and functions
  • Monitor metrics and analyze performance and customer usage of data products.
  • Refine data product strategy through customer product interviews.
  • Stay up to date on healthcare data standards, health IT policy, and other relevant topics

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of professional product management experience. Product ownership experience preferred but not required
  • Experience creating and maintaining product requirement documents and technical specifications.
  • Experience working with work item tracking systems such as Jira, GitHub Issues, Clubhouse, or Linear
  • Experience working with large amounts of data, preferably in a highly regulated or secure environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with health data formats like HL7 V2, CDA, FHIR
  • Experience with healthtech companies and/or products, information retrieval, distributed computing, security, machine learning and/or natural language processing
  • Advanced education or certification in a technical or business-related field
  • Experience maintaining project timelines and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience leading sprints within an agile software development environment
