We’ve got your back — from the boardroom to the breakroom
Sure, we make it look easy…but every Executive Assistant knows it takes a ton of hard work to make the magic happen. When we were Assistants, we wished for a tool and a community to share ideas, get answers, and make our days more efficient. Unfortunately, nothing like that existed.

So we did what Assistants do, and we Made. It. Happen.

We created Cabinet because we believe that the best systems let you do your best work. We know that you put your own spin on every task and add your own personality into every process.

We believe that every Assistant’s individuality is what sets them apart from the rest, and we believe that your humanity in the face of ticking clocks and faceless tech is your superpower.

That’s why we built unparalleled Executive Assistant software that empowers you to do what you do best — and helps you find the power to do it.

Who we are:

As AI and automation continue to shape the future of work, the role of Executive Assistants is shifting from nice-to-have support to being a strategic value-driver for their organizations. Cabinet is the catalyst for that movement with its Q&A community, collaboration tools, and data visualization features all built with assistants in mind. Last summer we went through Techstars, one of the top accelerators in the world, and we've been growing quickly ever since.

Who you are:

We're looking for a team member with 4+ years of experience with ReactJS, Django, relational databases, and Redux or other state management tools to join us as a Full-stack Engineer as a part of our founding engineering team. Experience with writing robust APIs, MaterialUI, Postgres, and NodeJS is a plus. You should be comfortable working with a team as well as independently, and be willing to learn new things as they are needed. In general, we value curiosity, collaboration, honesty, ambition, and personal growth.

What you will do:

In this position, you will work closely with the CTO to build Cabinet's core products that are currently used by thousands of assistants, some of whom support executives from Fortune 100 companies. You will be critical in growing Cabinet's hybrid web and mobile app into a polished, feature-rich, and robust application that will be deployed to many more users in the coming months. In addition, as a founding member of our engineering team, you will have a hand in all dimensions of our tech stack including frontend/backend development, architecture, devops, and even product design.

This will be a fully remote role with a lot of flexibility. We value the time a team can spend together in-person, so while working remotely will be the norm for the foreseeable future, we plan on spending some time together as a team, even if just for fun meetups, when it is safe to do so.

An initial call with our CTO, followed by a short take home tech assessment (designed to be relevant and applicable, not painstakingly arduous), and a final call with the CTO and CEO.

Cabinet is a young company, and is looking for subject matter experts to help shape the company. We aim to create a product with accessibility in mind so this is at the forefront of all of our design and internal efforts.

The team is open to new ideas, innovations, and is not stuck in their ways- they care deeply about work life balance, and employees are valued and recognized for their accomplishments.
