Jessica Jabr is a tech business management and marketing professional with 9 years of experience in the global startup ecosystem. She has worked in the startup/tech space in the Middle East for years and helped hundreds of startups and entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses through building and running support programs.
Previously, she was in charge of the Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship Center at the American University of Beirut (AUB), and handled events content, speakers, entrepreneur & investors engagement at Arabnet (which is one of the biggest startup/tech conferences in the region).
She brings with her a wealth of experience in program development and management, and has a deep understanding of the organizational structure, management, tech, entrepreneurship, marketing, and corporate space with a global perspective on organizational development, corporate innovation, and hacking growth strategies to push organizations forward.
Being a Lebanese queer woman who worked in business and tech all her life, she lived with the reality of the inequality of women in a patriarchal society and the oppression of the LGBTQIA+ community. She came to the U.S. in an attempt to break out of societal chains, to create a space for herself in life.
She lives to create and consume tech, modern art, music, pop culture, and accelerate the LGBTQIA+ visibility and liberation in the Middle East.
